While the day-to-day operations fall under the direction of the Executive Director, the ECDC Board of Directors has established a Police Operations Committee and a Fire Operations Committee.  These Operations Committees are available to the Executive Director to assist in the coordination of unified radio policy and procedures, procedural changes that affect one or more member agencies, and for the orderly transmittal of inquiries regarding the handling of specific matters by ECDC.

The Operations Committees meet at least four times a year.
